Dental Implants

Eating the foods you love and feeling confident in your smile are important. Dental implants can restore your smile and your freedom so you can live life to the fullest. For many of our patients with missing teeth, dental implants are the answer!

Benefits of Dental Implants for Tooth Replacement

Dental implants replace missing teeth to complete your smile but also provide a number of additional benefits:

Bone preservation – Dental implants can prevent bone loss due to missing teeth.

Long-lasting solution – Implants provide a long-term solution to tooth loss.

No diet restrictions – You can eat a wide variety of foods to stay healthy.

Convenient solution – Brush and floss your implant just like your natural teeth.

Bite restoration – Dental implants can keep your teeth from shifting.

Highly esthetic – When you smile, no one will notice your dental implant because it will match your natural teeth.

When planning your treatment, Dr. Soto will use 3-D technology to determine the ideal location to place your dental implant. This state-of-the-art technology allows us to identify areas of good bone density and avoid biological landmarks, such as your sinuses. By using 3-D technology, we can place your dental implant in the location that gives you the best long-term results.

Dental implants consist of a titanium screw that integrates naturally with your bone during the healing process. An abutment attaches to your dental implant and provides a base to secure a custom dental crown. Healing takes approximately 4 to 6 months, and sometimes less. At that point, your dental implant is ready for restoration.

Dr. Molero and Dr. Soto can combine dental implants with other dental treatments such as fixed dental bridges and dentures. Dental implants offer confidence and security by stabilizing your dentistry, making it easier to eat, laugh, and enjoy life without worry.

We can secure your dentures with dental implants, making it possible to “lock in” your dentures for a better fit. You will no longer need to worry about your dentures shifting and causing embarrassment or discomfort.

Esthetic Dental Implant Crowns

Because your dental implant crown is the part of your implant that will be visible when you smile, we custom design each dental crown to complement the appearance of your smile. Dr. Soto will carefully select the shade, shape, and size of your implant for the greatest esthetics and function.

Dr. Soto will place your dental implant, making any final adjustments to ensure a comfortable fit and proper chewing occlusion (bite).
